Oh, I am disappointed that Trish can't come with me to this fundraiser tomorrow night. Ida is sleeping over at Trish's parents house, but my parents will be out of town and they can't look after the baby. My mother is getting a journalism award for her commentary. We'd ask Trish's parents to look after the baby as well, except that they are also babysitting both kids for us on Sunday night when we go to a concert. We don't want to be a couple of demanding assholes, foisting their kids on someone night after night. So the question is whether I want to go at all. It sucks going to shit like that by yourself. However, I personally made the beer for the event and will surely be feted a little bit on that account. Nothing get you feted like giving away FREE BEER. I feel weird going alone and I'd also feel weird not going at all when I brewed the beer &shit. They'll be thanking me from the podium and then I'm just not there. Not very classy of me. We looked at all sorts of porn last night. Trish discovered Flicker groups. It seems that there is all sorts of home made porn on Flicker. So Trish started looking for anything tagged with 'dogging' plus 'wife' or anything of that nature. And we basically spent 2 hours looking at porn together. Having DSL at home is fucking awesome. I wish that gunsmith would shoot me an email and tell me what's up with the barrel of my Mauser project. Like whether he thinks it's worth keeping and crowning or if I'm going to have to replace it. Odds are that I won't be getting it back for another 3 weeks at least. Which I can live with. Meanwhile I have all of these other things for it that I ordered since I sent the rifle off and I'm itching to get going with them. A crisp, new front sight. Scope base and rings. Glass bedding kit.
