cellini's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Duct Tape Bandage Did I mention getting a nasty 2 inch gash across my left palm the other day while helping to build that roof? Yeah, well, that happened. It isn't infected but it seems to be getting more painful for some reason. The problem is keeping a bandage on it. I used duct tape on Sunday and that worked pretty well but I looked ridiculous so I pulled the duct tape off yesterday. So far it is hard to tell whether the ache in my elbows is just the natural soreness from doing framing carpentry for the first time in a year or if this is me ruining my tendons again with another bout of tennis elbow. I'm bullshitting everyone in my office about how long it will take to drive to this hotel in order to leave work early, get my prep work done for this class I have to teach tomorrow, and then go get beer and work on my book / watch DIY internet porn / fart around. STILL no word from my agent about the contract changes for my book. I'm getting really fidgety over it. I want this fucking thing signed and done already.
